About Jim and Mary Hetherington

Jim and Mary Hetherington have spent more than four decades building a marriage, raising a family, serving others, and pursuing meaningful work together. Their journey has included entrepreneurship, ministry, parenting, mentoring, writing, travel, and the many adjustments required to keep a relationship strong through changing seasons.

For more than thirty years, Jim and Mary operated a construction and renovation business. Mary managed the finances, worked alongside Jim on job sites, homeschooled their children, and helped create the stability that allowed their family, business, and ministry to grow. Together, they also served young people and families through twenty-three years of youth ministry and participated in mission work throughout Central America.

Today, Jim is an international bestselling author, speaker, relationship coach, and Life and Business Breakthrough Specialist. As founder of Authority Building System Inc. and Elite Authors Club, he helps authors, coaches, speakers, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven leaders clarify their message, develop their expertise, create meaningful content, and build businesses around the wisdom and experience they already possess.

Jim and Mary believe that business success should never come at the expense of marriage, family, health, or shared values.
